Quick Picks – Keurig Iced Coffee Machines
Our #1 pick is the K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker for it’s brew strength control, large capacity water reservoir and MultiStream Technology for an exceptionally flavorful experience every time you brew.
Do All Keurig Machines Make Iced Coffee?
The first thing you need to know about using a Keurig for iced coffee is that not all Keurigs have this functionality.
In fact, as of January 2022, only three Keurig coffee machine models have an Iced Coffee function.
Fortunately, they are all great options and we highly recommend each of them for refreshing iced coffees.
Keurig Iced Coffee Machine Comparison Chart
Here’s a quick look at the three Keurig iced coffee makers that you can choose from for your kitchen.
Each model has great features and they all are designed to make iced coffees.
What To Consider
Now that you know that Keurig only makes three models of their coffee machines with an Iced Coffee function, you have to determine which of these three models best meets your needs.
Here are the things we think you need to consider before making a purchase of one of the machines above.
Brew Capacity
As you can see in the chart above, the water reservoir for each iced coffee Keurig machine is a different size.
If you don’t want to be refilling the water tank a lot, then you should opt for the K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker as it has the largest water tank.
However, if you’ll only be making coffee for yourself or just two people, then the K-Supreme Single is a better choice for you since it has the smallest water tank.
Counter Space
If you have a small kitchen, then you may need to make your decision based on the size of the Keurig coffee maker.
The K-Supreme Single is the smallest of the three, which means it will take up the least amount of space on your kitchen counter.
If the footprint of the machine doesn’t matter because you have a large kitchen, the K-Elite Single takes up the most space on a counter.
Brew Strength Control
If you are the type of person who likes to make a strong cup of coffee, then you need a Keurig with a strength control setting.
Of these three machines, only the K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker has a strength control setting.
Auto-On Setting
If you enjoy having the coffee maker brew your coffee at the same time each morning, then an auto-on setting is the perfect feature for you.
Two of these machines have this functionality: the K-Elite Single and the K-Supreme Single.
MultiStream Technology
One cool feature that a lot of Keurig machines have is MultiStream Technology.
This is something that is unique to the Keurig line of coffee makers.
What is it?
It is an innovative new way to more evenly saturate the coffee grounds in every K-Cup pod. This technique extracts full flavor and aroma, so you can enjoy an exceptionally flavorful experience every time you brew.
Both the K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker and the K-Supreme Single feature MultiStream Technology.
Do You Need Special Pods for Keurig Iced Coffee?
No, any K-Cup pods will work for making iced coffee with one of the machines above.
For the best results, I recommend a dark roast since when the ice melts it may water down the coffee flavor a bit.
Keurig does also make Brew Over Ice K-cups, but you don’t have to use them for iced coffees.
Summary
As you can see, each of these three iced coffee makers from Keurig have a lot to offer the home barista.
Our #1 pick is the K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker with it’s brew strength control, large capacity water reservoir and MultiStream Technology for an exceptionally flavorful experience every time you brew.
